Service 01 · E-Plan & AutoCAD

Electrical engineering that survives the site.

Complete electrical engineering documentation based on EU and US standards — schematics a panel builder can wire from, and drawings your maintenance team can still use in ten years.

The problem

Bad drawings cost more than bad code.

A software fault gets fixed in an afternoon. An unlabelled terminal, a cable schedule that does not match the panel, or a safety circuit that cannot be validated will cost days on site — and will keep costing every time the machine is serviced.

Most electrical documentation problems are not technical. They come from drawings produced by someone who has never had to commission from them.

Our approach: every drawing set is produced by engineers who also commission machines. If a schematic would be painful to work from at 3am on a shutdown, it does not leave our office.

What we deliver

The complete documentation set.

Electrical schematics

ePlan and AutoCAD electrical schematics with consistent cross-referencing and page structure to IEC 81346-1 designations.

Wiring & cable documentation

Wiring diagrams, cable schedules and terminal charts that match the physical build — not an idealised version of it.

Panel layout & BOM

Control panel layouts with thermal and clearance consideration, plus a purchasable bill of materials with alternates identified.

Safety circuit design

Safety architecture designed and documented to the required SIL or Performance Level, with the calculation trail attached.

Power & control circuits

Supply distribution, protection coordination, motor circuits, VFD integration and control voltage design.

PLC I/O planning

I/O allocation, module selection, spare capacity planning and the I/O list that controls software will actually be written against.

Where it applies

New machines, retrofits and line upgrades.

Engineering support across the whole equipment lifecycle — including reverse-engineering documentation for machines whose original drawings were lost years ago.

  • New special-purpose machines and robotic cells
  • Line extensions and capacity upgrades
  • Legacy retrofits where the original drawings no longer match the machine
  • Panel replacement and control migration projects
  • Documentation packages for CE marking and customer acceptance
  • Overflow capacity for OEM engineering departments

Benefits

What good documentation buys you.

Faster panel build

Panel shops quote tighter and build faster when the schematic, layout and BOM agree with each other.

Shorter commissioning

Accurate terminal charts and I/O lists remove the guesswork that consumes the first days on site.

Compliance evidence

CE, UL, IEC and OSHA-aligned documentation ready for customer acceptance and audit.

Maintainability

Consistent designations mean your maintenance team can trace a fault without calling the OEM.
